For the love of all that's holy, please put OEM bumpers on, those look like cheap aftermarket things like you'd find advertised in the back of Max Power mag...
The rear is standard, the front is an AMG.

And i will put on my car, what i like, thanks.

Full amg kit will be going in the future.

Considered going with a variable geometry turbo (or two)?
Would make the boost curve less spiky.
And water injection so you don't need to run it so rich.
Water is cheaper than fuel smile

Fair enough, think it needs the rest of the kit to balance it out, the front one perhaps looks a bit out of place with the rest of the car being standard, think the rest of the AMG kit will balance it out and make it look more factory/OEM.

First on the list is a twin scroll quick spool manifold - for obvious reasons lol

I dont like the rear or side at the moment. Needs the rest of the kit to finish it off. And then hide that ugly exhaust with a pointy down tip.

Whilst the car has been lazing around on my drive, someones been doing some experimenting!

Dieselpumpuk have made a quick spooling manifold to go with the same turbo i have. It came on boost 1k rpm sooner compared directly to my dyno, and on a 190cc pump it made 611.2whp (733bhp @ crank) and 705.1lbft (846lbft @ crank 1147nm!)

Its now being sent to the pump maker (Goran) in Finland to be attached to a built OM606 with H profile rods and a crank girdle plate - to see what it will make with more revs.

I guess thats my power sorted when the car is ready!

I think for safety sake id get the engine built before i went for over 500whp again. The idea of the manifold if you read the blurb, is to get the boost in earlier - which im all for. Mine would still be wastegated to control the boost until a day when i want to go stronger internals.

+1

Did your mother not tell you "if you've nothing nice to say.."

It's a big bit of fun this car. He can put what bumper he likes on it. Enjoy the engine and look past the front if it bothers you so. smile

Personally, I like it.

Its never had a different bumper on in my ownership.

Its missing the fog lights, but i fail to see how its a nasty amg bumper.

The main reason for the kit is the rear bumper will hang lower and hide the pointy down tip (when i get it welded on)

It's just being pedantic about nothing. The car is modified, it isn't some phers wet dream of a un-abused blue blooded director owner car, in beige. It is a heavily modded car.

Actually you're wrong. People have been slagging off his bumper for the past umpteen pages. It's now at the point that it's ruining discussion, which is what a discussion forum is for.

Could you just leave the thread alone. it's actually quite interesting and doesn't need your puerile comments.

Thanks.
