Whilst the car has been lazing around on my drive, someones been doing some experimenting!

Dieselpumpuk have made a quick spooling manifold to go with the same turbo i have. It came on boost 1k rpm sooner compared directly to my dyno, and on a 190cc pump it made 611.2whp (733bhp @ crank) and 705.1lbft (846lbft @ crank 1147nm!)

Its now being sent to the pump maker (Goran) in Finland to be attached to a built OM606 with H profile rods and a crank girdle plate - to see what it will make with more revs.

I guess thats my power sorted when the car is ready!

I think for safety sake id get the engine built before i went for over 500whp again. The idea of the manifold if you read the blurb, is to get the boost in earlier - which im all for. Mine would still be wastegated to control the boost until a day when i want to go stronger internals.

DELETED: Comment made by a member who's account has been deleted.
Its never had a different bumper on in my ownership.

Its missing the fog lights, but i fail to see how its a nasty amg bumper.

The main reason for the kit is the rear bumper will hang lower and hide the pointy down tip (when i get it welded on)

Starting to chip away at little tasks.

My main bug was the interior. Wood was a nasty light coloured wood, and was pretty faded, cracked and just looked honking.

I got hold of some dark burl wood trim - but scratches, and small imperfections bug me (more than it should!)

So i got it hydro dripped in carbon

That looks quite interesting, is there a part size minimum where that fails to work?

Saw these crop up on a local selling site. Dont know if the guy knew their worth, as i got them at a steal. Needing a refurb, lacquer peel and light curbing. Geniune AMG monoblocks staggered 18x8 and 18x9. Guy was going to bin them!

Freshly painted

Ignore the scrap tyres on them, purchasing some new rubber soon!

Got rid of the bulky steering wheel for something a little more slim and fitting.

And yes, the mats do have ''superturbodiesel'' embroidered on them #saddo

Ive never been a fan of the carbon look. But really struggled to think what else would suit. Glad i did in the end smile

Got round to fitting the wheels. No clearance issues and no rubbing. Although when she goes lower, the arches will need rolling.

On to the next part...

Looks lovely - Question though: Is the front wheel very close to the (back of the) front arch or is it just the photo?
I did think that, just the photo lol

Had a wicked weekend at modified nationals. Sadly i was too burnt, hungover and lethargic to move into the sunlight to take any photos.

Ive had the windows tinted, and a pointy down tip welded on the exhaust to keep the soot off the new paint on the rear (well all over to be honest)

Mini photo shoot!

That's incredible, congratulations.

I did enjoy reading through the technical analysis of why the original dyno figures were out but I'm sure that whatever it's producing is good fun!

Would love to see it on a drag strip.
It made 526whp. I dont see how anyone can argue the printout .The latest offering from dpuk with the fancy quick spooling manifold made 611whp (albeit in untested terrirtory)

I'm going to Santa Pod on the 10th this month?.

Do you get through MOT's ok on the emissions front out of interest?
It actually passed with a clean slate. Only smokes if you stamp hard on the throttle.
