Looks lovely - Question though: Is the front wheel very close to the (back of the) front arch or is it just the photo?

Had a wicked weekend at modified nationals. Sadly i was too burnt, hungover and lethargic to move into the sunlight to take any photos.

Ive had the windows tinted, and a pointy down tip welded on the exhaust to keep the soot off the new paint on the rear (well all over to be honest)

Mini photo shoot!

That's incredible, congratulations.

I did enjoy reading through the technical analysis of why the original dyno figures were out but I'm sure that whatever it's producing is good fun!

Would love to see it on a drag strip.

It made 526whp. I dont see how anyone can argue the printout .The latest offering from dpuk with the fancy quick spooling manifold made 611whp (albeit in untested terrirtory)

It actually passed with a clean slate. Only smokes if you stamp hard on the throttle.

A throttle controls the amount of air entering an engine. Still no 8000rpm?

I think what he's getting at is that a diesel doesn't have a throttle as such. It's wide open all the time. Right foot dictates fuel metering and nothing else. smile

OED defines it as a device controlling fuel or power to an engine. So that will suffice for me.

So yeah, only plumes when you stamp on the throttle

Considered going with a variable geometry turbo (or two)?
Would make the boost curve less spiky.
And water injection so you don't need to run it so rich.
Water is cheaper than fuel smile
Running a diesel rich creates hotter combustion temperatures, the opposite of a petrol.
