So basically today I've scratched an itch I've had since around 2006. After a trip to not so sunny Cardiff. I'm the custodian of a black Citroën C6 2.7 HDi Exclusive with cream interior.
It's my fourth French car so know exactly what to expect. I hope I've bought a good one, certainly has all the invoices to match previous owners love of visiting his main dealer, no questions asked. Has all the options and the TGV seats sold the deal being a trai driver myself. 99% of everything works plans are to finish the rough edges and get it mint mint.
It's going to be a fun journey I hope. I'll get some better pictures at some point. I have to say its a wonderfully daft thing and it makes me smile as it bobs and wafts around. I looking for excuses just to sit in it at the moment. The fact it seems to polarise opinions appeals too.
I'm pretty sure its not a PH car but I love it all the same.

If this isn't a PH car, I wouldn't want to be a PH'er.
Individual, a bit geeky, stuffed full of Gallic charm - it's a fantastic thing.
I must have one of these at some point, even if it's just to cruise down to Bordeaux in once, in absolute comfort at sustained high speed. Magnifique!
edit - make sure you keep this updated OP, I'm very much looking forward to hearing how it is to live with.

So lovely having a light interior, just lifts the ambiance and cliché of clichés makes the car feel airy. It will be a bugger to keep clean, however flash magic erasers work wonders...
My favourite feature has always been this.
So far so good.
List of things I want to do, sort out parking sensor, I suspected ecu(still do) however one plug showing corrosion so could be as simple as no continuity from sensors to plug even if ecu is borked they aren't expensive, eBay is my friend here.
Last MOTadvisory stated about front pipes to suspension corroding will get this looked at next week. Get hydraulics looked over for general health. Some spheres replaced some not.
Piece of chrome trim on front bumper nearside needs renewal
A plastic cover for lock on drivers handle
Get interior leather restored, its 95% there just I want it perfect
Ditto to alloys
Finally a mop, being black its picked up a few marks other than that, it rolls sweet and I'm over the moon with it.
Slow is the new fast.
Ill update the thread as I go along so it'll be good to see the end product.
Glad some enjoy it, despite it not being in anyway sportyIm glad there is a select bunch of weirdos(assists) that can appreciate Gallic nonsense.
Have to say also C6 owners forum is very good judged ad single car model forum.
