We have an engine!

Needs a good degrease/clean and probably a few gaskets/seals. Will definitely need to reseal the sump but might actually chuck a new one on.

Tempted to give the block a coat of paint too but that's maybe a step too far smile

"New" engine unloaded

Clutch is only a few years old but will probably still replace it.

Need longer bolts the same thread pattern as the bell housing bolts so I can get it mounted on a stand

Bugger! Nothing worse on here than a thread 'bump'. Thought I'd be reading the OP's done a full Abarth 4WD conversion!

Anyway TP, what's the latest? bounce

Will you be giving it a new belt/gasket/plugs etc, or just degreasing it and bunging it in?

Bumped into a friend of my mother's yesterday, asked her if she still had her panda, she very excitedly told me she did, and it was on 180k now. Thought you'd like to know that the panda seems to be favorite of the slightly mad horsey ladies.

TP, would you buy it because you have a hankering for high mileage Pandas or is meeting a 'slightly mad horsey lady' the deal breaker here? laugh
