Time to prime the rocker cover

Panda joined by an old friend that has been languishing in the corner for too long

When someone complains about it you simply show them the 'before' pictures?
Sounds about right hehe

Waiting on a rocker cover gasket and it'll be time to start putting the engine back together smile

Still in a pile of bits. I've found myself wanting a small petrol runaround recently though so that might be enough to get my finger out and get on with it!

Panda is still in bits but just to convince you that I haven't become any more sane recently meet the newest member of the fleet

Yes it's a 1.9 dci, yes it's done some miles and yes it has some of the usual 1.9dci problems

hehe to be fair it was cheap, doesn't run THAT badly and has a few months MOT

EGR valve was more carbon than metal so I'm hoping it'll be the cause of the occasional running problems

It isn't a bad thing to drive at all and is a lot more useful than the Kangoo it replaces in my fleet

New EGR valve will hopefully sort out it's issues, MAF looks pretty new.

It cost less than that repair bill so I'm quite happy to bin it if it becomes real trouble, itll pay for itself pretty quickly anyway

Crap van news - EGR valve to replace the EGR valve shaped lump of coal seems to have sorted the running problems so far biggrin

laugh I have a Rover 216 Cabriolet complete with K series goodness but disappointingly for you it works 100%!

Radiator arrived for this Panda the other day (£9 delivered from Amazon for a Magneti Morelli part, amazing) along with a couple of coolant hoses so I'm almost ready to start reassembling it!

Small problem of a locking wheel nut key-less Fiesta blocking access in my workshop - that should be gone in a week or so once Ford get me a new key and I'll be able to crack on with the Panda!

Amazon do car parts?!

type
Outrageously cheap ones in very small stock levels it seems - they have quite a lot of radiators for less than £10, brake calipers, etc etc

Depends on the vehicle how lucky you are

(they do also have parts for normal prices on par with ECP/GSF but for some reason they have tons of stupidly cheap ones)

This pile of st is still in bits but I really must get it moving soon - need the space back that it and all of its parts take up.

Hopefully get round to it in the coming weeks but I said that ages ago
