A big no comment from me on that shiz! I ain't doing politics on PH. OK, I lied: I will just guffaw slightly that the Brexiteers have still failed to realise that there is going to be more legal bks, bureaucracy and rule by faceless suits than there was before the well informed and not at all fibbed to electorate pulled the eject handle. Still, at least they'll be our faceless suits, eh?
The whole thing is a kerching-fest for lawyers and other suit wearers, so maybe I'll be able to afford some non rusty cars for a change.

Well I shan't derail this thread further, but I'll say this - it's a gift for notaries. Mrs Reus already has her eyes on a big house in Essex and a white Range Rover. Sadly the cost of a week's groceries is set to reach such a level that we'll actually be staying put and buying a Morris Marina.

It's turning out to be very lucrative for me too, as I thought it might. The great irony is that wkers like us are exactly the sort of people this Brexit vote was in large part meant to spite, but angry men in flat roofed pubs in Huddersfield will suffer while we benefit. None of this makes me happy.Anyway, back to terrible, rusty, shoddy but wonderful cars please.

I agree completely. I am not happy about that either, even though I will profit from the lunacy. This year's Bar European Group shindig (at a luxo hotel in Crete) will be even more jovial than usual. Anyway, back to the stbox motors. Here's me Dolly out for a blat last night

Nice to have you dipping your toe in PH waters again BV. It's about time you bought an Espada, which my good lady often refers to as 'an Italian SD1'...
Nyar, a Ferrari Daytona is an Italian SD1 (David Bache is supposed to have ripped off the Daytona design when he drew the SD1). I have driven an Espada. It had a mega heavy clutch, was hard to see out of, and got very hot. Fun to try, but I am not sure that I would want to own one. Breadvan72 said:

Dolly Sprint cylinder head everso clever, if a bit fragile, was looking at one all in bits in the pits at Goodwood last weekend. (one day I'll recount the story of the exploding Dolly Sprint carnage trailer Ford Scorpio wipeout fiasco, 15 years on I still shudder)Edited by Breadvan72 on Monday 27th March 17:23
Inspired by your car, I bought one, a Daimler, 2.8, Rover carbs with manual choke and electronic ignition got it running fine. It was just the best driving car EVER!
So here I am, up to my ankles in a Silver Shadow engine rebuild, bleeding many many beer and pork scrathcing tokens, knowing full well that the XJ6/Sov was/is a better car.
Humph. Stupidity threshold remains low.
