Can someone with photoshop just fill the lower wing entirely to see what it would look like solid. Cheers

Flip the ends so the flat edge is along the bottom - it'll make it look closer to the road.

Think he means you to rotate bottom grille 180 degrees so the longer edge is nearer the road.

I get the point he makes if I'm correct.

Quite like the filled indicator areas in that pic too fwiw.

Oh i see what he means now make the lower centre mesh a frown not a smile haha. Cant really do that because of how flimy that unit is. Would have to make a complete new piece

Yep.

Was going to use the smile analogy, but thought you'd think I was mad!!

Craig. Do the spots absolutely have to be removed? I reckon that they're useful both in breaking up that expanse and in retaining some originality and interest at the front.
It might be good to see an image showing snazzy grille, no indicators, and with spotlights present.

CDG, no they don't but the ones that were there were smashed and i have been advised that because of the position this is a likely regular outcome. Scroll up a bit and I found a set of daylight running lights that would fit the round holes but was promptly told i would have them inserted up my backside hehe

Yes, I saw the DRL comments.
I'm not sure I buy the comment that the lights would get broken regularly, I suspect it's pretty rare in normal use.
I don't know, I just feel that you need something there, and I really like the spots.

The combined DRL fog unit I have seen can be mounted flush whereas the previous ones were recessed so it would look like this rather than be down a hole (but without the indicator of course)

The ones I have seen are 9cm circumference (3.5 inches) and will be sitting below a 7inch headlamp so I reckon if you centred them to be in the right place directly below the main headlamp that might look pretty good.

Now tighten the width of the grille, square it behind the no plate, maybe30mm wider each side, but square.

Or put the over riders back on to lose the edge.

Made them a bit bigger and centred them more.

The DRLs could work well. I really think you need something there, those blank 'clean' looks that others have posted really don't work for me.

I'm torn but I think overall you may be right. Up to Craig at the end of the day.. at least he has plenty of PS mockups to look at. biggrin
