Wild Berry?

Was a late 90`s Bentley colour that worked very well on the `Coke bottle shape` Continental & may still be in the range.

I know it's photoshopped but it does look good. A good 70's colour smile

Here's mine that I had about 10 years ago now in a purpley blue colour. Wish I'd never sold it but it and the Rolls Royce I had at the time were'nt suitable for the commute I was doing, so I sold them both on for the first XJR I bought. smile

If we're going for random non-purple colours, metallic saphire looks splendid and really shows off curves.

I know people view Ford as cheap but they do have some fabulous colours and not expensive to mix. I think that Capri is purple velvet the same used on the Escort 1300e and Cortini 1600e.
Daytona yellow, Modena green, Olympic blue. They did a bronze but it's basically metallic brown.
Say you chose the purple velvet, you could change the metallic to mica and choose the shade of mica to give a pearlescent edge to the colour.
Bright red with a blue clear coat looks good.
Bright red looks good with chrome smile

I just think that looks stunning and maybe more so because of its size.

Subscribing to this thread. I have a 75 XJ12C (US car). I just got finished with converting back from propane to Lucas D-Jet and now need to work on the interior. I love the red seats your car. Being a Texas car, the body is solid but the interior is trash.

Looking forward to updates.

I had an XJ in that colour. It looks great when clean and waxed in strong light, but looks very drab indeed when it's dirty and overcast.

Oh I don't know. It looks pretty good at the moment covered in crud after a long day slogging it about.

Car is now pretty much paint prepped. Took the chance to get rid of the radio antenna which I think spoils the beauty of the rear wing

Grille is ready as shown earlier. Lights have now been tested and work great

Bumpers are currently being modified to remove over riders all round

All exterior chrome being rechromed

Rear lights being coloured completely red and having LED bulbs fitted

New numberplate won from DVLA auction for £350 to look dateless and allow easy black and silver plate running.

Hopefully then minus the wheels the outside will look done by end of April
