Did you get your new wheels sorted?
I'm going for the Image wheels BBS replicas with spokes painted to match the car and the hub cover engineered to fit a red Jaguar wheel badge rather than the image logo. Not sure if going 17s or 18s yet. Will get the original 17s on when painted and mess with ride height then make decision on size

Haha I've seen that. Worst colour in history but funny video
It shows how tastes differ - to me that looks fabulous. It's one of the best colours available on the Series cars.

Talking of quad cam V12s, there was a guy in Australia who built a Jaguar V12 using the cylinder heads from the Jaguar AJ6. There are videos of him building it and running it on Youtube. Not a practical suggestion, but interesting!

There has been a series 2 saloon for sale in that colour in excellent condition for well over a year

That's exactly how I would do it.
The wheels you currently have are 2 piece?

Thanks. Lovely colour, but more than I'd want to pay.

Im not sure there is enough of a "change" between the interior and exterior

I think I agree. More of a contrast would offset the colour better.

Indeed. Much like Mustard/tan. Not enough contrast.

If they are, new centres can be made. The pictures of your car right at the beginning show what look like front mounted centres with recesses between the spokes for securing bolts but I'm guessing as they could just be the style of your wheel although I've never seen anything the same before.
If it's possible could you post some more detailed pictures of those wheels please? smile

I found this old picture to show you how 18's would look in normal arches. The front is on lowered springs. The front crossmember is roughly 50mm off the tarmac, .....when on tarmac. The rear is standard height.

Will probably go 18s with the raised rear arch

I don't think you will regret it.

I worked for a Jaguar dealer in Sydney many years ago. I was chatting to a guy who said he had a quad cam v12 using aj6 heads. I asked for him to bring it in when finished but I never saw him again. Maybe the same guy ?
