Very exciting.

And I wonder what "delivery miles" would mean in this context. Not being cheeky about the boat trip. I'm referring to the actual odometer in your car.

For example: a new car on a dealership lot, stateside, might have three miles on the odometer. Or five.

Of course, this figure doesn't really mean anything. But I am curious. It's not every day that somebody orders a spec-built car, has it packed up, and shipped across the world.
I'm in Australia and I asked this and they said when it turns up next year it'll be on between 30-60km as 'delivery mileage'. Apparently on and off the boats a few times to get here adds the I'd but I still can't see how so many. I'm looking forward to seeing it the day it arrives at the dealers and then how many get on the clock once it arrives before delivery
In the US I had 9 miles on the Evo IX (off the lot but no options apart from color offered in the US , so no special order).
I had 13 miles on the S4 which was specced up and ordered.

They seem to be moving quite a few of these in the UK: I see truckloads of them heading north on the A34 every morning.

As said above, I agree. Range Rovers and Jaguars go south, and you see the Fords going north. Makes a nice change on the commute. smile Not long now! Also saw the Mazda had gone up for sale again, is this to facilitate this, or because the rear bumper would never be painted properly?

I bet you're excited, I had to wait a week for the DVLA to do my paperwork on a car and that was tense enough!

The Mustang seems to be doing really well, they are everywhere around where I am (East of England). I regularly see one a week, often more. Considering how unusual they used to be they seem to be coming out of the woodwork now

It's been hiding at the wrong dealership for a week apparently! (At the main showroom of the dealer group it seems).

But it's arrived, although not much to see - granted smile

It looks like its going to a KKK meeting with that protection on it, on a side note I saw my first 5.0 convertible in red a couple of roads over from a friends house looked lovely

Choice of colour really does suit it. I spotted a white one driving through the mean streets of Kensington (Liverpool) first time I've actually spied one in the flesh. Has real presence. Was definitely a v8, what a noise!

They are 65k AUD which equates to 42k EUR. There is a 18month waiting list and they are selling stupid numbers - 6000 of them on order:

Awesome choice on the spec. I'd buy one in a heartbeat!

Is the pallet of tyres in the bottom picture all for you? biggrin Someone that parks in the same local station as me has a red 5.0. I'm only a tiny bit jealous...
