Speed?
Yeh, quite a lot of it.

A fair cop.
Oof!
EUR500 fine here would also mean sir's licence is immediately suspended by the Rozzer until a court hearing.

Your clutch pedal sticking is a combination of things.

The steeda shifter bushing will help, I have one similar.

The biggest improvement is a braided steel clutch line, I have the steeda line.

Also change the transmission fluid from OEM to royal purple.

Then you want the whiteline transmission mount bushing.

Ultimately, the mt82 transmission is a bad design with a remote mounted shifter.

The proper fix is a mgw race spec 2 shifter. The downside is some cause more NVH.

That's crap service from Ford. It amazes me that companies act like that these days.

Just out of interest, are there any warranty issues with fitting aftermarket bits? Say you had premature clutch failure or some problem with the engine, is there any danger they may say it could have possibly been caused by a non-standard clutch mechanism or intake system?

And if the after-sales service you've received so far is anything to go by, they'd have been about as much use as tits on a fish in the event of a claim anyway!

Glad to see Ford are pulling their finger out and hopefully getting on board. Could turn out like GetCarters moan with BMW a few years ago.

DiodeDynamics deep red LED side markers in!

They look bloody lovely, but the quality of the connectors are deeply shoddy.

Lights themselves are well made though.

Easy to fit?

Yup. About 45 mins work incl. jacking the car.
Good to know

So what, jack it up and access the inside rear of the wing/panel?

Yup. You could probably just about do it without jacking it, but having it 1/2 metre in the air makes your life a lot easier.

Very easy install - just the quality of the connectors used could be better. Make sure to order the 'EU' version, as you need the extra loom to connect up to the number plate light circuit.

Another thing I learnt yesterday - none of the lights on the car have fuses! Its all computer controlled. I short-circuited the lighting circuit and they all went out - spent ages looking for the bloody fuse, realised it didnt have one and then next time I cycled the power they all came back smile
Good to know and also I look forward to frying my ECU!

They look really great.

What's next?!

When I can get around to it, I already have in the garage:

- USDM GT lower grill
- Steeda lower shifter mounting bracket
- *STILL* need to get around to making an appt. for the rear light tint

- Next year I would like a set of 20s, but dont know which ones yet.
- Sort the suspension, choice of 3: Eibach/Steeda lowering springs, KW or Pedders coilover, or the whole Ford Racing handling kit.
- I want to get it on a RR at some point
- BMR cradle lockout kit might be a nice idea too.

Once the wheels and suspension are sorted, I think im probably mostly there.

It's far too late to stop now, the addiction has taken hold.

Great outcome

What was the issue with the seats? It's one function I'm looking forward to.

They dont work hehe

No seriously, the cooling function often actually heats the seat as the motors cant draw any air and begin to overheat.

Mine had a TSB applied that fixed most of the unwanted heating, but its still very far from a cooled seat (as advertised). So money back.
Damn the cooling seats are so needed here - I hope they work!

Good result for you though good work

Doesn't look bad, but it's a bit of snow over sheet ice.
Looks nice but your nuts.

I will not take mine out again in snow unless it has snow tires. I ended up going side ways on the interstate and just manages to get it under control. Never again. Doesn't yours have a snow mode or is that the ecoboost?

Nice car thumbup Friends of mine unexpectedly turned up yesterday in a brand new 5.0 in black. They'd been yo the USA & hired the little one as a convertible & we're so smitten they decided on the way home they'd get one in the UK. They were surprised that there was a 9 month wait if they wanted a new one but got lucky with a cancelled order in the colour they wanted. The only thing it hadn't got was heated seats which they'd have liked.
