Always enjoy an update on this thread!
Glad to see you got your issues sorted and hope the AC stays fixed. Shame about the clicking though, hopefully the uprated items fix it.
Me and a couple of mates a road tripping to the 'Ring in September on a sort of RotBox banger rally of our own. We're going via Rotterdam and having a night in Amsterdam (because, that's on the way right? ). Not sure if any of that is close to where you are, but would be good to see this in the flesh and have a pint!

Me too, but I can't be the only one who opens this thread with a feeling of dread as to what may have gone wrong this time to prompt the update?KL, the car is testament to your efforts and patience, but I can't imagine a more taxing ownership experience on what was supposed to be a simple, new car.

I replaced my wheel bearings again today.
These ones are 6m old with about 10k miles. Only fitted through this summer season and they look like they've been under the bloody ocean. OEM Motorcraft.
I assume you've contact them and made them aware? That is awful. These ones are 6m old with about 10k miles. Only fitted through this summer season and they look like they've been under the bloody ocean. OEM Motorcraft.
Agreed, please don't take my silence as lack of interest.
I really enjoy reading about what you are doing to the car. I think it looks great, especially the latest pictures! But am sorry to hear the click from the rear is back!
I had a drive of a Mustang in the US over the summer (albeit a 4 cylinder) and loved it. A Mustang is definitely on my 'I'd like to own one' list.

Hey Medic
Yes I live in Maastricht. Thanks for the kind offer, that's very nice of you to think of it!
I travel to the UK regularly, and family are always coming here too, so I'm pretty well covered on that front.... But if something comes up, I'll be in touch
Just reading through the thread, I lived in Maastricht when I was a kid, my dad was in the forces, great place.Yes I live in Maastricht. Thanks for the kind offer, that's very nice of you to think of it!

Great thread too, taken bloody ages to read.

Have you noticed much difference removing the IMRC system? I assume they lock it into the short manifold/high rev position, in which case if all else remains equal you will see a reduction in low engine speed torque. Of course in your case all else is not equal. I don't really see much benefit to removing it though, beyond simplifying engine calibration for the 'tuner'.
Your car looks better each time you post! We hired a 6 cylinder 2018 Mustang convertible last week when in Vegas. Managed to cover 1600 miles in a week and I was really impressed. It drove very nicely, was comfortable, quiet and well equipped. All it needed was a V8! I am seriously tempted...
