The desk agent gave us a hint and said they rarely (if ever) have the std Corvettes in Miami. So if you book one of those at a much lower price and with unlimited miles, you will often get a free upgrade at the desk to a Z06. No guarantee though.
I had a standard Corvette booked when I went to Miami in December…and Hertz’s handling (pre-booking) was pretty poor.

The reservation was made at the start of June for collection at the end of November. In early October, I saw that the standard Corvette was no longer offered and called Hertz; they advised (after a lot of prodding) that I would be substituted to a Challenger (1/2 the price at the time of booking) or a Mustang V8 (sold out for the dates I had booked). They offered me a “deal,” on a 100th which was a sobering sum of money for a 13 day rental!

Ended up with an Escalade which was a very guilty pleasure and possibly better for the trip of pottering that we had planned. Surprisingly quick although economy was, “interesting,” were I to have gone across I75 at the same speed your HUD (seemingly the same part as that in the ‘Slade from the display) suggests you did and, when the back drifted on gravel it was like oversteering a terraced house.

Just spent half a day reading through this thread. What a great Mustang you have and such a shame about the Ford dealer service. Glad you found yourself a go to place.

There is a 100-200 Dragy facebook group.

Get yourself on there and compare to some other stuff.

most of these cars are being remote tuned
I might have missed it elsewhere in the thread, but is your car remote tuned also?

At the risk of becoming a salesmen for them...MAP Tuning in the UK have their own dyno cell and their new demo car is a Mustang (supercharged). Theyre a dealer for Whipple, Steeda, Kooks etc but have their own dyno cell and in-house tuner. I've only had work done through them on my RX7 and they were excellent!

Amazing car btw, looks incredible.

I love the American flag in the rear GT logo. It suits the car very well, and sets it all off. the colour is fantastic!

Here is a comparison list from AutotopNL, the guys I did the autobahn video with.

They now use DRAGY on all their test cars.

Fair to say, its in good company.

Are those times legit? Finding it hard to believe I'm over 7 seconds quicker than a P100d from 100-200km/h.

Oh, and love the GT badge, looks great.

Beautiful car. My wife saw this one parked in our local Aldi and sent me a picture of it saying she wanted one. The joy of being married to a petrolhead.

Really like the wrap.

Sorry posting the image from an iPhone so can’t figure out how to rotate it.

I like it.

Impressed at the mileage too, it's good to see cars driven.

Car looks awesome, glad to hear it's running well.

If you had custom headers/centre exhaust section would it be worth having removable cats in? If it's a fairly quick job to swap them then it'd be much less of a headache.
