Anyone recommend good Indie Specialist in SouthWest.

My 997.1 Carrera S is due a major service this summer.
I've used Bristol Porsche main dealer previously, but wondered if there was a good independent specialist in the Bristol/Somerset area, that members would recommended.

Alternatively, if you fancy a trip over the bridge then Chris Denning in Cardiff is first class.

Neil Garner at Kemble if not too far. Good chap. Ran winning Britcar GT3 for a while and do a lot of racing as well as standard Porsche work. Ex Renault F1.
Looked after my GT3 and 997 for servicing, and helped prep my 968 race car. Vey happy with service.

I was in Camerons this morning. They tell me the service part of the business is maybe 2/3 years old but obviously the sales side has been there for ages. Both chaps I met are time served ex Bristol Porsche tech and looking at the motors there, plenty of people trust them!

I've heard nothing bad and went there recommended by a real marque enthusiast.

Another one for Cameron specialist cars here. Chris and Tim are both ex Porsche OPC techies and know their stuff. They look after my 930 and do a great job.

Top man, very good with the older air cooled nails too.

+1 for crispin, looked after my old man's car for years. Bit of a ramshackle garage though!

I rang Steve Bull twice to quote on replacing shocks on my 997. Twice he failed to call back. Very poor.
