First post on here; upgrade from a Mk2 2.0, to new Mk3 TTS Roadster

A few of the nice options; Open Top Pack, Tech Pack, B&O, Matrix LED lights (they're super clever!)

Yes, to both, but someone else's cancelled order, so got nearly 20% off including some finance contributions.

Open top pack?

Nice colour, 20% discount is decent too.

Open Top Driving Pack gives heated seats, neck warmer / blower / vents in seats, wind deflector

Nice.

Having to spec a 'open top pack' on a car like that is a joke though.

Indeed. I'd have expected heated seats to be standard on an expensive modern convertible to be honest, perhaps even a wind deflector (didn't the mk1 TT roadster get an electric retractable deflector as standard?)

I agree it looks great in red though.

One of these passed me going in the opposite direction the other day and I have to say what a good looking car (nice colour as well), very nice. Hope it treats you well.

Great looking car! Lovely colour for it.
I haven't driven one yet but my mum has a TTS coupe on order so hopefully I soon will.

I took a TTS coupe home last night and was kind of disappointed. It is well built, and it's a nice place to be, it has great accelaration and grip but I just felt a bit uninvolved.

It's also horrendously complicated and I kept finding new buttons but still don't know how to get the radio to dispay DAB track/artist info.

And who thought that having the rear spoiler go up at 80mph wasn't going to be a hint that I either am or have recently been travelling just a bit faster than the number on the stick suggests?

Very nice car OP.

Any pictures of the interior and dashboard? Does yours have the fancy customisable instrument panel?

The Mk3 TT has the digital/customisable dashboard as standard on all models smile

Very nice OP, congrats on your new toy thumbup!
We got our Mk3 a few months ago, although a more modest TDI S Line as we're putting lots of miles on it. We went for the 'super sport' seats which I think are standard in the TTS as they're fab!
I've never driven another TT so can't compare to the Mk2, but we love it so far.
I wasn't convinced about it at first, I fancied an SLK instead, but as soon as I sat in a Mk3 there was no doubt. The interior is such a lovely place to be!
