640d - fancy a convertible
Discussion
I'm not going to be looking for another 6 months as that's when the lease on my 435d finishes. I do about 25k miles a year which makes leasing fairly expensive so I'm looking at options when it comes to an end.
I've loved the 4 series, it's comfortable, efficient and pretty quick in all situations so I'm looking to replace it with something similar - but I'm looking to buy rather than lease this time.

Something like this seems a lot of car for the money and has all the kit I've made use of in the 4 i.e. heated seats, xenons, pro nav etc.
I spend most of my time up and down the motorways or doing the 20 min mostly 30mph through town into the office and I miss doing it in a convertible.
I started looking at the E9x 335d but they don't do it in a convertible then I noticed the price of these things.
Any advice, problems or issues I need to consider?

Something like this looks great.
I'd be open to a coupe if the right one came up too.
Any alternatives I should be looking at?
I could buy my 435d off them for £29k - 35k miles 18 months old.

If you message the OP in the link below, he had a 640d before buying his GC so should be able to give you some pointers.

Doing a bit more research, are there any essential options I should be looking at? Obviously the reverse/surround cameras and upgraded audio would be nice to have but they come with most (what I see as) important things as standard (same as a 4 series M Sport) such as xenons, heated seats, bluetooth and pro nav.
The iDrive is a bit older, has the older controller, i.e. smaller and without the touch sensitive pad - but can I still set it up to send directions to the car from Google, something I use on a daily basis?

Adaptive suspension comes highly recommended and I wish I had soft close doors because the amount of times I fail to shut the door properly drives me mad.
I also think the 20 inch rims are a must because the 19 inch ones look lost under the arches, a different interior trim is also nice as the silver trim looks a little cheap. The multi function dash looks cool too.
