Spent a month in the USA, went new york, north carolina, boston, providence - think this counts as traveling considering im in Uni just now.

You imply I dont have money to drink, which is rediculous really. Im young, I like beer and vodka - I dont drink expensive wines.

Good food - im happy with a mcdonalds so never been a top concern.

Women - again you imply I am struggling with this.

You may all have your reasons to dislike me/what I do. If you dont like it just dont open any threads by me. I dont run round in all the "what car" threads recommending old Rolls Royce's.

PH would be a very dull place without people like you.
It would be wall to wall threads of leased cars in which nothing happens.
Owners going into the "what car" threads and endlessly recommending what they have.
That's when people stop checking in daily, going to every other day leading to once a week, then never, its been the trend of many forums over the years.

So keep putting the updates on when you get time, I will read them. smile

I wish I was as adventurous as you when I was your age. Keep it up, fella, you'll learn so much from it. You don't learn when it's all plain sailing, you learn from the trials and tribulations and getting stuck in.

English lessons. YKIMS.

Just ditch the rusting hulks, they are a drain on you and your finances.

A rotten Shadow isn't worth the effort.

No, clearly they are not a drain on HIM nor HIS finances - as he has numerous.

To YOU it is not worth the effort, are you jealous of what he is doing because you couldn't at his age or can't now? Perhaps you should ditch the old s*** Alphard 3.0 G-MZ as the soul destroying "car" that it is or perhaps I should mind my own business as it is YOUR money to waste.

Why are you trying to put him down, he is young if it turns out to be a mistake then hopefully he can learn from it, if he ends up with an old Rolls that he enjoys then so be it.

Without people doing, quite frankly stupid things, PH would be a much worse place.

Crack on Slow.

Agree with the post above - life is too short to care about what idiots like 'Trabi601' think

Keep it up mate.

Trabi is a trolling idiot. Ignore him. This is an excellent thread and many of us admire what you're doing. Good luck, and enjoy it.

The nobility of the cause is directly proportional to the product of the rustiness of the hulk and the drain on the finances.

...or, to look on the bright side, when it DOES inevitably get broken, at least the engine's now sellable as a runner.

Slow, please drag the roller into your garage before it gets snowed in, this way you can keep us up to date with your progress!

Good luck, and keep going! - at the end of the day who could be rolling around in a roller?

Couldn't agree more.
While I have serious doubts as to whether it will ever get finished (based on Slow's form and flights of fancy), it's hardly a major financial/time drain to have it sitting there. Surely it would be possible to make a few quid back by breaking it when it eventually goes beyond repair.

I've just read the entire thread. It matters not what other people think; only what makes you happy. Adventure and adversity go hand-in-hand anyway. Really looking forward to seeing what you achieve, and if you don't complete the project you'll still have learned a great deal.

Please keep the updates coming
