I had a 220 coupe back in the day, big end bearings went the day after I bought it which kind of put a dampener on things. It was a lovely car though and so undervalued for the performance.
They certainly were, and still are a bit today, but I think people are realising this now which is either a gd or bad thing lol, depends on how you look at it it

I had a white 420 GSi Turbo. Loved it, but the car didn't reciprocate (driveshafts and gearbox issues).

Good to see one of these is still around and looking well!

Friend had a n/a (or 3), as with the poster above i ended up with a CRX.

Always had a soft spot for these though, really good looking, rapid, old-school coupe.

Is it true that the chassis of these is basically that of a DC2?

What is the difference between a 200 coupe and a tomcat?

The tomcat was a code name used by rover, when they produced the 220 coupe turbo
