5000 miles under its wheels now. Nothing broken. No squeaks of rattles.

One kerbed alloy. I'm blaming the ridiculous turning circle and equally ridiculous kerbs at Tobacoo Dock multi-storey car park.

Averaging 25mpg.

Still enjoying it and not looking at replacements, yet.

Nice car buddy!

What's the build quality like?

I've seen one on the road now, and it looks great.

Lots of reports of the Shell seats set too high.

Do you find it a problem?

Have any other owners found a solution yet? Surely must be quite straight forward.

I don't have any issue with the seating height but I'm only 5'8. If you are 6ft+ I could maybe see it being a problem.

That car park should be torn down. I've now done 2 driver rear wheels on separate cars on separate occasions, despite driving at less than 1 mph the whole way round it.

It's not German build quality but if you manage your expectations it's fine...

You feel like you're sitting on the car rather than in them however I didn't spec the car and they look good and are supportive when throwing the car around. I probably would still have added them if I had ordered the car. I used to fall out of the seat in my M3 on track.

Nothing out as yet but there's talk of Recaro offering a lower frame but that'll likely void any seat warranty and they're quite expensive so I'll just suck it up.

Same wheel! Three point turns at the base and top of each ramp, each time gritting my teeth waiting for that metal on concrete noise.

With hindsight, following a Range Rover folding its mirrors to enter the ramp up to the car park and then seeing another leaving with the passenger guiding the driver out I should have known it wouldn't end well.

How have you found the oil consumption and is the 25mpg average mixed driving??

Used about a litre in the first 1000 miles now hardly uses any.

25mpg is from mixed driving but with a sway to more urban driving and an uneconomical style.

I found them too high in the test drive, I'm 6 foot 1 but I have a long body and short legs. Body shape seems more important than actual height. I've got the standard ones in my car as I'm quite portly and prefer them

With regard to lowering the seats this was done for the same seats in the Clio but apparently Litchfield (might be another firm) looked into it and it's harder now because of the amount of airbags apparently
