Super rare car purchase (Abarth Punto Evo Scorpione)

Ok, so it's not exactly exotic, it's not rip snorting fast but in this day and age building just 10 right hand drive versions for the uk market seems un-economical but boy does it feel special! I've just purchased a Abarth Punto Evo Scorpione! Only 199 built worldwide and only 10 for the uk. For people who are familiar with the Essesee kits for Abarth you can buy various go faster goodies to add to your Abarth, what the scorpione encompasses is All the best tuning parts and the rare sabelt bucket seats with lightweight 18" gloss black wheels, floating 302mm Brembo callipers along with Koni FSD shocks and lowered springs, performance exhaust, filter and a remap. Special paintwork and a certificate of authenticity from Abarth. It's a great car, amazing road manners for a Fiat derived platform and when manufacturers talk about limited numbers of "only 500 made" Abarth had the nerve to make just 10 in RHD. It's rare to be rare these days and it makes me feel special.

I've seen a LHD one of these in the Abarth dealer when I came very close to buying a 595 Comp 2 years ago. Very nice the Punto was too.

Yes so was I. They are very supportive and soo cumfy. You can buy a Abarth punto evo supersport and have those seats as an optional extra when new £1795 each!!! Ouch!

I'd never heard of these before but it looks good. I'm impressed that this is something that you can/could go and buy from a Fiat dealer. Hope you enjoy it as much as it looks like you will.

Lovely motors. I thought about getting one to replace my 182 at one point.

Very underated and overshadowed but the A500. Used to read some negative things on the Fiat forum about the build quality in the early days but hopefully sorted now.

It's not actually built by fiat! It's built by Abarth in Italy and this is my second Abarth Punto, ran a Abarth grande punto for 4 years with no problems, build quality is better than fiat!! It's powered by a 1.4 turbocharged 16v engine which develops 180bhp and if you slip it into sport mode it has 240flbs of torque at 2500rpm, 135 top speed and 0-60 in 6.5 it' doesn't feel like a 1.4 they drive like a 2.0 engine bags of torque. I love the looks and prefer it to the Abarth 500

Original advert, these were factory order only, no dealers got them for display! You ordered it from the Abarth dealer pay them then the car was built and sent to the dealer for collection
