I saw one of these at Snugburys Ice Cream place outside Nantwich today. This time last week I didn't even know the version existed.

Looked great in the flesh. Very purposeful. I always thought this gen of Punto was a great design, if a little long in the tooth now. Can't believe you can still buy them new eleven years after release!

Was it a scorpione? Or standard evo there is a huge Italian car festival on tomorrow and of course the Abarth club which is at Gaydon near Warwick so probably see a few Abarths out by tomorrow

Looked exactly like the one in the pics on here. It was the big brakes/stuffed arches and diffuser which caught my eye, and some poor Doris trying to clamber out of the passenger bucket.

Had a pressed '13' plate on it. No idea if that's the right year for these.

Looks really smart. I do like a rare car and this has something about it (probably the seats and rarity) that would lure me in over the rest of the small hot hatches. Good buy.

I always liked the styling of Puntos of that era but yours is really special, particularly those seats!

I've always had a soft spot for Fiats - the first car I drove on my own after passing my test was my Mum's Fiat 127. What a great car that was!

When she replaced it I tried to talk her into a 128 3P, but she went for a 128 Estate instead (thankfully a 1300) because by then my Dad was confined to a wheelchair following a massive stroke.

I did get to drive him around in his 125 though, which for him was the next best thing to driving it himself! A few years later I had a 132ES 1800, but Fiats kind of dropped off my radar after that (not a FWD fan to be fair).

But now that nearly every car is FWD yours is still something else, and ultra rare to boot!

Out of curiosity, are they all that colour? A bright red or even yellow would stand out even more! (Or even Orange like the 127 Sport my Mum also looked at).

The scorpione was only available in black, it had the Matt black roof and bonnet stripes painted on unlike the supersport which were a vinyl option.
