Looks fantastic! How was it traveling to the ring? I nearly got myself one a few months back. This isn't helping rolleyes
I drove from Newcastle upon Tyne, the B-Pipe isn't exactly fun but it was comfortable enough, we stopped in dartford overnight on the way, did the return trip in a single day.

I think I averaged 39mpg and I was doing 70 ish most of the time, very ish

Your Mrs looks like she is sh*tting herself in that ring pic

How do you get your Mrs to go with you to the Ring ? share your secrets....

MPSS are great in the bone dry, but there pretty poor in anything but perfect conditions.
I just noticed this bit, I had them on the back of the M5 with no issues wet or dry? they were night and day to the PZeros I had on prior to them
The Pilot Super Sport is great in the dry and still great in the wet. Odd comment.

I would have just gone without her so I presume she’s do anything to escape the kids!

It’s actually funny because she’s fine being a passenger because she’s a very competent driver, but a few minutes earlier she asked me to slow it down slightly as she was feeling a bit sick, then that M3 came into view.

Not long after that photo, needless to say I should have slowed down 🙈

Intercooler/grille needs painting to match the rest of the front end too (Matt/Satin Black?) Just a little attention to detail bit....

The FK8 is the same- just looks a tad unfinished from the factory...

I've still got this, it's got 26k on it now.

I took the B pipe off it, it's just had front and rear pads and a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S 245/35/R19.

It's also just had it's first MOT with not a single advisory, the clock has been ticking to get rid since I bought it but nothing is blowing my skirt up really.

This is THE best shape Type R, when it came out I hated it but since that new fugly one has come out I adore this!

Friend just bought one in blue and loves it! Seem to be holding their value well too.

I do, it just works still!

It's going to need front brakes soon so I plan on putting the FK8 floating discs on, also the front wings have flaked due to the weather getting under the
chips, this happens a lot.

So this summer it'll be getting the wheels and wings done, and maybe the roof.

Other than that it's a frugal fun machine / van

Well, the FK2 went the journey last month, it was good and nothing really went wrong with it, it's actually the longest I've owned a daily but it never really blew my skirt up.

I love these, I almost bought a blue one after a test drive back when they first appeared, they look miles better in person too.

What did you end up replacing it with?
