Well it appears BMW couldn't sell my old Cayman for £17k so they have palmed it off to a Evans hellshaw.

It was burning about a litre of oil every 350 miles when I traded it in for my
M135i and at the last service had an extensive list of work required.

On top of that the water pump was noisey and still on the original clutch.

PM me if you need any more info.

Scored bores and a hefty list of repairs at 54K miles. You must have been ragging it to within an inch of its' life.

I'm sure the BMW main dealer I traded it in to didn't lose money on the deal both on the trade in and the new car so I won't lose any sleep over it.

As for the list of faults, I showed him the paperwork with the list of work picked up at the last service done by cavendish Porsche in long eaton.

I figured I would post it here so fellow PH would be aware and know the cars history.

It got driven as Porsche intended every once in a while. I only had it 18 months and in all honesty I think the previous owner knew the engine was on its way and got rid. I was just the mug who bought it.
