I've got a Merc A Class on personal lease.

Would I be able to swap the front and rear wheels around so I have more tread on the front? Or when I give the car back would they think it was dodgy?

Thanks

Assuming the same size then why not? There is no marking on a wheel saying front or back so as long as they are legal then all is good

If they're the same size front and back...

I suppose they won't charge you for tyres if you've got more than Xmm remaining so yeah swapping front to back makes sense.

Of course everybody here is going to tell you you'll crash and die if you put the best tyres on the front...

Rotating tyres is a perfectly reasonable practice in order to even out tyre wear. As long as you're running a square set, go for it.
