We started off in Wick, and finished up in Fort William.

I have a 61 plate in same colour, I have the gunmetal grey alloys though. Ive had a cat back exhaust fitted and ive got Apex springs to fit.. So impressed with it sticks to the road like glue!! Im off to Scotland end of month with my driveclub.. DC180(find us on FB) 😉 We will be covering those routes I cannot wait!!

Sorry, the pedant in me can't help pointing out your car is the slightly different Kashmir Blue.....I have only ever driven standard Sports and they are great as they are so the springs and exhaust on yours must add to the greatness!

Good to see you're keeping it in original spec and not messing around lowering it or adding boy-racer gubbins all over the shop. I've had mine since 2012 and it's a joy to drive and very reliable.
I fully intented to keep mine standard I really did.. But every car ive owned I at least put a cat back on for my own aural pleasure... Ive gone for 30mm Apex springs which I have researched as a good spring for the Sport, I am not into "slamming" cars with moronic negative camber. I just cannot live with the OE arch gap. But no silly boy racer mods will be going on it 
I picked up a Sport just over three weeks back and absolutely love it. Was going to start my own thread but may as well tag on to this one.
I was looking to replace my Civic for ages and considered all sorts. Believe it or not, the only other car I got seriously close to buying was an RS Megane, 250 flavour. No regrets whatsoever though, absolutely loving the Swift, not a single complaint. Nice to drive (seats and gearbox are superb), fun to drive (engine revs like a winner), cheap to drive (44.6mpg at the minute, 900 miles in, mostly the dear stuff). And not had a problem with space either, had four of us down to Manchester for a couple of nights without a bother. If anything, the boot is perfect for going shopping as you don't open up to find your frozen sausages thrown all over the boot, nice and compact.
No plans for any mods, just keep it mechanically and cosmetically sound. I've given the first wash and wax this afternoon, was planning to see how dirty I could get it but couldn't resist a good clean in the sun.
Also to the OP, I watched your videos on YT before getting mine and you're probably half the reason I was convinced to get one, a lot of good info in your videos so thanks.
Here's a picture post-wash. I've used my Instagram picture so save on file size. Also check out my other half's 1.2 in the background which is also an awesome car.

I'm assuming by low you mean high? Well I've not been giving it the beans much as I bought it new. And I know folk say you don't have to run in modern engines but better safe than sorry. Only time I've pressed on properly was over Whinlatter pass recently. Plus I've been on a few long runs. And I genuinely think the premium fuel makes a noticeable difference. Unless of course you did mean low then all of the opposite of what I just said. It revs so keenly I keep hitting the limiter....
We need to get all the Sports together for a meet
However, weekend away to the Dales next month should provide some good opportunities for a decent drive.
I need to get on to some owners forums and see what's going on.

The Swift dealt with the roads brilliantly, due to it being lightweight and having a brilliant chassis and suspension set up. Hey, I rejoined these forums after many years, because I see you're also in love with the blue of your car.Still loving the car. I recently took it to the highlands, to do the North Coast 500. The scenery and the roads were epic! The Swift dealt with the roads brilliantly, due to it being lightweight and having a brilliant chassis and suspension set up. One thing to mention, is that the size of the car really helped on the Applecross pass, due to it being so narrow.

My car is a little different, but I also did (the majority of) the NC500 as part of a larger trip:
It's a cracking place and, whilst I have some vids of the journey on the blog my wife insisted we write, I don't have any pics of my cars in the highlands I don't think.
Here's one from the trip though, up near Honister Slate Mine.
I think your car is a proper hidden gem and that colour is lovely. I kinda feel that way about mine - I fell in love with the blue and much prefer the Mazda 3 Saloon to the Hatchback (fun fact, every panel pressing is different between the two models, so even the stance up front is different!).
It's no Mazda 3 MPS but does a good job of giving a fun driving experience. Similarly specced (Xenons, cruise control etc) it was a much cheaper prospect at under £4k some 3.5 years ago with only 41k on the clock. Even now, I've only done 62k and I'm balancing whether I move on to something else or just get bodywork done on her as she needs some fixing up in that category. My 2.0 gives similar performance to your Swift Sport (slightly higher top speed in lieu of a slightly slower 0-62, but revvy enough to be enjoyable, and handles well considering it's a bigger car. Displacement compensates for the weight somewhat), but the LF-VD DISI engine is still pretty sweet.

Sadly the Alto is 64bhp from a 0.66 litre engine but it weighs some 670kg in 2WD, AWD bringing it up to 720kg - still light! Also, only 5sp Auto.

I'd be very surprised if it's better than the 1.6. It will probably be a bit more solidly built, probably quicker and probably a decent drive. But it won't be better. It won't beg for 7000+rpm. And I know it won't look as good. The Swift really is in a class of its own. Suzuki are (as far as I know) the only manufacturer whose performance model is a 140bhp car. And I think that's cool.
I'd rather have a Swift than a a Fiesta ST, Polo GTI or whatever, although they are good cars. Must admit I am tempted by an exhaust update though, despite the better angels of my nature.
