Life with an XJ220
Discussion
The only thing that's disappointing with this thread is the lack of reading material.
Ironic how you were encouraged by people all over the world to air your opinions on the car and all you tell us is that its an event to drive. wow. My Megane RS is an event to drive but Id need to elaborate that its only an event at 9/10ths down a dangerously twisty country lane and the rest of the time pretty much unbearable as a commuter for average Joe.
Please please make an effort, spend some time to tell us what its like daily and on a run so people know what itll be like for when they win the lotto.

That picture is just perfect. Muted colours, an everyday junction on a slightly grotty looking road, understated. With what looks like an alien spacecraft in it. Really looking forward to reading more. No detail too detailed or too obscure in my opinion, please share!

Jesus Christ that first picture is about the most perfect image I've ever seen - I want to cry a little bit.
I was at the NEC watching the XJ220 spinning around on a turntable at the Motorshow on it's release, aged about 7. It's remained a unicorn ever since, and they just seem to be more and more incredible and desirable as the years pass.

I've always adored the XJ220.
Are they admired beyond the UK? I think Brits really appreciate great achievement from limited resources but I'm not sure that always translates.
Does your average Italian car fan consider the XJ220 with anything like the regard that we might speak of, say, a Countach?
