Be interested to know how the boot mod works? Where did they find the extra space?

Everyone should click through to see the pic full-size btw.

Good tip that, looks even better in the full res versions. Whatever setting your camera are at make it look like it's made of liquid. Looks ace.

I guess the Petrolicious article saves Phil some initial words though it'd be good to hear from an owner rather than a writer what it's like to own one day to day & how special it is every time you climb in & turn the key. Thanks for posting though Phil thumbup

Lovely car op,
As others have said, the Jag garage in Brentwood had one in there window for years, and yes I always looked in the window when passing, even though it was 35 miles from home!
Also remember a car test on the tv, think it might have been 5th gear when they did an ingear acceleration test and the car sterio flew out the dash as soon as the loud pedal was pressed.

How many cars are still around? Out of how many built?

Bit of a poor thread of I'm honest and not doing the car the justice it deserves!

Stunning.

Living on the Cheshire/Staffordshire border, I'm lucky enough to pass Don Law's emporium at least weekly and frequently see various Jaguars coming and going.

Pub lunch just down the road

Top of my lottery list that car too. I remember when I first set sight on one at Beaulieu. I just had to stand there for a moment and take it in. Such a presence.

I'll try and dig out a photo to explain visually for you. In effect though, the removal of the silencers released space for a deeper version of the stock 'drop in' boot section. Such a simple mod, but one that makes a massive difference.

The day to day grind is an event that's for sure. The long nose makes bobbling around town a cautious affair until you're happy with trusting your gut. Being a lefty makes moving away from junctions a pain in the ass. I've got a tiny portal to see through over my right shoulder (through the side inlet) and even then it always gives you a little butt clench.

Oh dude I'm sorry. Throw me a question and let's take it from there. I'm always going to be gushy about, even with the foibles it has :-)

It still has that effect. I can slurp through more than a couple of cups of tea and just stare at it. Wife thinks I'm insane as you can imagine.

That's brightened the 05:50 to Waterloo train journey up!

Lovely looking car, we brought a LHD Honda Prelude back from the UAE great fun driving that on UK roads helps greatly with a co pilot.

The article popped up on social media, so posted it.

Certainly more interested in an owners, real world, view!

Well unless you take me for a spin I'm never going to know what sort of event it is so please tell us what it's like to live with on a daily basis, you ever been to the shops in her or is it simply a toy what's it like to drive and how does it make you feel

What other cars you got and how does it compare
