Got this last week and very happy with it. From someone who used to very much dislike the TT when they were first launched.

Nogaro blue is a favourite colour of mine, until recently I was unaware is was a special order on the Mk1 TT, usually only reserved for S and RS models, which got me researching into Mk1 TT's and then ultimately buying this example.

I must say, the experience of actually driving this car couldn't be further removed from the expectation I had of them them from the motor journalists at the time.

Here are the seller's pictures, I've now removed the spats...

I'm also warming to the Mk1 TT after years of not giving them the time of day. I do wonder what they're like to own now as they're getting on a bit. Yours looks fantastic in that colour. I can't remember ever having seen one in the same shade. Those alloys suit it well I think and fill the arches out nicely.

I am another who has grown to like the Mk1 TT, I remember driving a 225 when they first came out and finding the driving experience a bit underwhelming, compared to my Impreza Turbo I had at the time

In the past few years I have come close to getting a TT on a number of times as a second car

Yours looks really nice, colour really suits it

I think the design has aged well - looks grea in blue.

I always preferred the bigger spoiler option they did.

I'll jump on the band wagon and say I also quite like the mk1 TT, when I first saw it as a prototype it looked amazing, I think it's aged well. Saw one the other day with spoiler removed as well, looked interesting.

Yours is a cracking example, I'm off to find one similar in the classifieds

I had one for a few months, moved it on as I needed the cash. I think next year when the leases on our current cars end I will have another one. Love the colour of yours. Mine was the less vibrant blue.

I had a face lifted 2003 plate 225 in a very rare silvery blue colour (not Avus but cannot remember the code!) with red leather. It had the rare factory sat nav fitted as well. I loved it. One of the cars I regret selling.

Mine was mapped by AMD with a few other tasteful bits done. Changing the anti roll bars completely changes the under steer tendencies.

Looks incredible in Noggy Blue. Imola Yellow is another favourite for me and mk1 TT's.

I've quite often nearly gone back to one but never found one I liked as much as my old one!

Good luck with it.

Thanks for the positive replies

Its had a bit of tweeking, suspension and a forge motorsport remap (not sure what brand of software forge use its not in the paperwork and i dont think the develop their own)

Also had 3 documented cambelt changes while still only on 113k! 7 Brake fluid changes also!

The spoiler extension and honeycomb valence are 3.2 items.

To be honest i still see a few mk1s and wince at the bad mods or rough condition. I see they are being broken in large numbers too, which for it to be any kind of desirable classic is a good thing.

I bought this for 2.2k including delivery from london to glasgow. Only bit of rust ive found is a broken bubble on the inside of the rear hatch.

I still think the spoiler extension and honeycomb valance is about all you could do to make it perfect.

Great colour and wheels.

The V6 front bumper and 3 bar grill are nice upgrades in my opinion.

£2200 for that is cracking value, was thinking 4 or 5 for the Nogaro Blue tax !

Big fan of these, suprised loads are getting broken though.

The best colour and engine for the early TT, in my opinion. I might be biased though, having come from a Noggy B5 RS4 and a BAM (225) engined mk1 S3 before that.
Sure to increase in value.

I'd expect that to become a classic in 15 or so years.

Think they already are to be honest, there are still a lot about but decent 225 coupes are going to be sought after, Sports already are, not sure on 180s, Cabs and the V6.

I'd missed that. It's a lot of car for the money.
