Mx5 Parts exhaust won on eBay
How are you getting on with that exhaust? I'm off to collect the same one tonight, reviews on MX5 Parts seem... Mixed! It's fairly common for performance exhausts to make the trim rattle behind the seats on these cars but I've not experienced that at all with this one. My wife has a GoPerform back box and center section with de-cat and her car rattles everywhere plus it's horribly loud. She love it though so I guess that's fine.
That sounds promising, thanks.
I was going to buy the Moss Cobalt exhaust whilst it's on offer, but someone has offered me an unfitted MX5 parts backbox for £140 - seems like too good a deal to pass up. Also, I think the Cobalt was designed with the valance of the MK3.5 in mind as it seems to protrude too much on the MK3.
Hopefully I won't have any rattle issues. A previous owner of my car seems to have undertaken an anti-rattle mission as nearly every contacting piece of trim has had fluffy tape added to it!

Sounds promising then and £140 is a bargain, think I paid £160 for mine which had been used for a couple of days. They're around £300 new or something like that.I was going to buy the Moss Cobalt exhaust whilst it's on offer, but someone has offered me an unfitted MX5 parts backbox for £140 - seems like too good a deal to pass up. While I'm posting I'll add some new pics of mine from the SS on Sunday.

Bought Lamin-X red tint film in Black friday sales. Total cost including shipping and taxes was about £80.
Threw it in the bin. Bloody useless stuff. No idea how people have managed to tint MK3 lights with it. There's too many curves and it ends up full of creases.
Ordered some red light tint spray for £12 from Euro Car Parts. Probably what I should have done in the first place.

Did you heat it with a hairdryer whilst applying?
I used some cheap ebay £5 tint and it worked fine once it was hot enough.
I did yeah. The lamin-x stuff is really thick and I just couldn't get it round the multiple curves without it creasing. Clearly other people have had success so it's bound to be user error. I should clearly steer clear of taking up being a professional car wrapper. lol.I used some cheap ebay £5 tint and it worked fine once it was hot enough.
I also got Lamin-x yellow tints for the front fogs and they look great - Not £80 great though.

Just realised it was you who bought the BC coilovers on the Nutz forum that I replied about... Bargain!
Let me know if your Eibach springs are now for sale.
Yup that's me!Let me know if your Eibach springs are now for sale.
They will be yes. Springs and dampers (billies) for £200 ono. Dampers are on 70K and the springs are less than 6 months old.
Not updated this in a while so here goes.
Went to a new years day meet, got snapped.

Had ANOTHER seized front calliper so that changed out along with RX8 yellow dot ARBs and some new drop links.

Next up was fitting a Pioneer Double DIN touchscreen headhunt with Apple CarPlay. Much fun ensued with fitting kits and a million wiring loom adapters for the BOSE and wheel controls. Sounds immense now though and the functionality is just brilliant.

Went away for a weekend in Wiltshire to Celebrate Mr Horne Snr's 70th. Some great roads.

Took Mr Horne Snr to the PH Sunday Service @ Prodrive.

Bought a set of used BC coilovers (not yet fitted)

And finally today tinted the rear lamps red with some tint spray.

Next up the PH Sunday Service at Silverstone where I'm going to do at least one track session to see what it's like.

Love the look of this, and the early post makes me sad the Reading meet was canned. it was the best local meet for me... Even if I've never owned a Jap car! A friend is looking at an NA this evening though, and potentially collecting it on Saturday. You're relatively local to me, Basingstoke IIRC?
Gave it a wash and took some snaps.
