1964 Chevy Nova AWD
Discussion
Hello from US. Here is my 64 Nova I just converted to AWD. I added a Syclone/Typhoon style transfer case and Jeep Cherokee axle in front with a locker, so true four wheels driving. It has a 6.0 van engine with 57mm turbos. Last year it dynoed 740/810 at the wheels with 51mm turbos before the conversion.

Looks awesome, especially with wide draglites all round. It looks like it came straight out of two lane blacktop. Which engine is it? The vortec L96?https://www.youtube.com/embed/04i6KJEmrmA

The car is hideous so I will claim it is purposely made to look Mad Max What I'd really like to do
is figure out how to mate a T56 trans to a Mercedes M120 48v v12 and make that AWD.
Here is the transfer case attached to 3 speed auto--the transfer cases can be had for $100, no one
does anything with AWD here for some reason
This is a Jeep Dana 30 and steering setup--solid axle seems to lend itself better to using a locker
I had lowered the whole car last year, quite a lot of work in the rear with the leaf, now I need to raise it back up!
Thanks!

Daft question, but how does it handle with the Jeep front axel?
Also what's the plans for the car? Just a project or are you going to take it to the track? The LS guys have been complaining for a while about putting power down in roll races. Maybe you have the answer (although not sure if the jeep axel can take it)?
