We're offering everyone the opportunity to enjoy any Citroën vehicle with a 24 hour test drive. The only question is…where will you go?
Spa, back in 24 hours. Might need new tyres. darkyoung1000 said:
Excellent stuff, good luck with it. I was at Anglesey earlier this year watching the 2cv and C1 racing and it was excellent.

A few likeminded mates and I are excitedly planning on building a car for Spa next year.
Do you know if you can race on a National B license?
A couple of years ago I needed a National A license before I could race at Spa.Do you know if you can race on a National B license?

I think it's Nat. B for the Snetterton 24h race (assuming it is Snett next year) but Spa I think is Nat. A. There may also be the opportunity for some 2 hour races (Rich knows more than I do about it) during the year so you might be able to get signatures to upgrade fairly quickly.
Rich, here. more about my involvement later. You can enter the UK 24hr race with Nat B, but do need Nat A as a minimum for Spa. Having just competed in the Spa 24hr a few weeks ago, I can honestly say that the daylight into dark stint of 2hrs 35mins was probably the most enjoyable racing stint I have ever done. C'mon, you're not tempted to port the st out of everything whilst you're in there??
Very, but they have a nifty rule (from the point of equalization) that if the organisers think you're running a quicker engine, they can request you change it for a 'stock' engine from their supply.Which is why, as long as there's no nasties in the sump I'm leaving the head on
Had a read through the thread and the link to the BTG article. Something like this does have a lot of appeal!
After doing some digging about although it looks like some of the 2CV lot aren't the happiest about the new cars, I'm hoping this takes off, even if it starts to run as a separate series.
A modern, relatively low cost one make/model endurance race I feel would have some good potential and as others have mentioned, split between 3-4 drivers the build and entry costs really shouldn't be too significant.
Running near stock C1's might help avoid most of the noise issues usually involved with trying to run an endurance race as well?
Next year isn't going to happen for myself, but I'm inclined to keep an eye on what's happening with it with the intention of possibly getting a car ready to race in 2018.
Best of luck with the car!
