Well I've just taken a huge loss and sold this on eBay with all the faults declared in the ad so I can buy a Transit to start my own landscaping business.

The next mode of transport which I have just won for a pricely sum of £1380 is a 2005 100PS SWB Transit which I'll be using as my only vehicle for a while.

Goodbye stbox Audi woohoo

Strangely enough I ended up selling my last Audi on eBay at a huge loss and said the same thing once it had gone.

Never again would I consider buying any VAG car, I am sure they are fine leased with a warranty but mine seemed to be one problem after another.

Just for balance, my A3 with the 2.0TDI 170 engine & DSG never put a foot wrong in the 42,000 miles I put on it over 18ish months.

Sorry to see your struggles OP, always st when you get a lemon

Sounds like you did not get a new engine but a new head from a slightly different engine instead?

Gutted for you bud but can see why you want shut of it.

PS get the belts done on the tranny van asap!

I am jealous of you both, I would love to keep it but it's just frustrating to look at now hehe

It looks that way but I'm just so relieved it's gone!

I'll be making sure the Transit is mechanically sound before I even attempt to drive it home, I never want to experience this st again hehe

Front chassis really like to rot on the transits. Take someone who knows what they're looking for with you

Apologies for the poor twatchat picture but I picked my van up today and I'm loving it. It isn't the same as my last works van as that was a MK7 and had the nicer interior but it will do! Needs the tracking done but im happy, ill only be keeping this for a few months before I lease a van if my ideas go well.
