I learnt quickly that what looks absolutely dreadful when you first uncover it looks 100 times better once you have cut it out. Measuring, photos, and research go along way into getting it back together. There's a skill to cutting the rot out. You really have to come at the area from different angles to not cause more damage than needed. The point until you weld the first panel in is dreadful. You just feel like you're killing your car.
