When I'm Prime Minister, among the many things I'm going to ban, will be the following:
The use of the word 'rims'
Any wheels larger than 18 inches in diameter.
There are no valid reasons for such large, heavy, ride-destroying, vulgar, unsightly lumps of metal other than an unseemly obsession with style over substance.
Apart from that piffling point, great car OP...

I'm actually surprised so many people have said they look too big, I honestly thought bigger is better. Not only that but the 991 comes with 20'' from the factory. Obviously I like them or I wouldn't have bought them but still surprised by others opinion. £11k later I think it's a huge improvement over the original car.
£11 k for the wheels !!! Jesus. Car looks nice OP and great photos.
A number of years ago I was in California and noticed that a lot of the (old and new) 911's are modified and I really liked the diversity. In the UK it seems the average 911 buyer likes a standard car, something that blends in. Maybe it's an English cultural thing.
I've modded my 911 and have had overall positive comments but I do appreciate that it's a very personal thing and just as many people won't like it. I would like to see more personalised 911's though.
Well done OP for doing something a little different!

Assuming the £11k isn't just for the wheels?
Not being a 997 spotter I can't tell what else is different.
Nice pictures, what do you use?
I'm in the same boat. It looks a nice black 911 with about £1500-worth of aftermarket wheels on it to me. What else has been changed? Not being a 997 spotter I can't tell what else is different.
Nice pictures, what do you use?
