Decided to a few days of daily driving this week, as the weather has been so sunny.

Such a joy to drive...and i'm starting to zero in on the weird central locking issue, I have my suspicions that it's the car battery itself, as the locks only play up when the cars been sat a few days...as soon as i've started using every day those gremlins seem to have disappeared.

Obligatory work car park shot, couldn't help stopping to have a little look at it once I parked up.

The car is booked in for a little service in a couple weeks, and fitting of a tegiwa intake, which should liven up the crossover noise a bit.

Always wanted one of these when I had an EP3. Awesome cars
The Tegiwa intake was the best thing I fitted purely due to the immense noise it made. It will make you giggle like a child I promise!

Never seen a red one! Looks stunning.. Tempted by one of these myself if I can ever bare to part with the GT86. They seem like a car I'd enjoy very much.

I don't think I've ever seen a Milano A-pack DC5 before. Most are C-Pack cars.

There were a couple of C -pack cars about when I bought this, but the extra equipment didn't seem particularly tempting weighed against other factors.

Quite fortunate that the previous owner picked up a parcel shelf for this one I guess!

I do slightly miss electric folding mirrors though, had gotten very used to them on my mitsubishi.

Small but satisfying job over the weekend, the rear boot badge was looking a bit tired, so its out with the old, in with the new-

Took the car out for a blast on sunday, and sure enough after being parked up for a few days the central locking poltergeist that inhabits the Integra is back in full swing.

I'm rather fed up of the locks constantly flicking on and off while i drive, and it can't be doing the lock motors much good...so currently trying to hunt down an auto electrician that can find out what the hell is going on!

I'm thinking either low car battery, a short somewhere, duff lock actuator, or a problem with the cobra alarm system...but theorizing is a bit pointless, just going to hand it over to someone who knows what they're doing!

In other car news, I decided to keep the Mitsubishi, I figured I'd probably regret selling it, so going to split driving between the two JDM coupes for the time being.

Lovely DC5, I'll keep my eye out for it in St Albans.
I actually think I've spoken to you in the past - I parked behind The Maltings and think I bumped into you once, and you commented on how often I changed my cars as there always seemed to be a different car with a PH sticker in my parking space each time you walked past.

Car looks absolutely fantastic, definitely one of the rare colors for these cars. I've got one myself which i have owned for around 8 years now. I initially wanted a Blue one but after seeing it in Red i had to have it. I still don't think it looks dated and still turns heads on the road.

Just a quick pic smile

Lovely smile How is it on longer trips? I had an EP3 in 2005 to 2006 and found it fine on the motorway so just looking to compare.

Chris S right? saw yours on FB a few days ago in that red honda thread...it's lovely.

I think this is the first car i've owned for a long time that I actually really like the factory alloys...yours look good in graphite grey.

I've had it on two 2/3 hour trips so far and it's a dream to be honest...infinitely more comfortable and refined than my mitsubishi, having that 6th gear makes cruising that bit more relaxed for sure.

That's me smile Thanks, I like the factory wheels as well. I was originally going to get them painted in Aston Martin Meteorite Silver as that is a stunning colour. But decided to get them powder coated in an Audi grey which was as close as i could get. But the powder coating finish is much tougher than just general paint. But they do just add a little something to the car.

What did you do about the centre caps? painted and then a honda vinyl sticker over the top?

Agree with some of the other posts - these have aged really well, you wouldn't think they were 15 years old.

OP, really nice car, definitely a bit of jealousy over here wink Would love to get one, but need something sensible for a 50mile a day commute and have nowhere to keep a 2nd car frown
