Hi.
I have a problem with my Octavia
I had a 100 mile plus trip yesterday.
It seemed ok to start with then it started heating.
I tried moving the temp control several times from hot to cold but this did not change anything.
The heater was always putting out hot air.
Even when i turned the fan off the too vents pointing towards the door were still pushing out hot air.
I closed the vent and the plastic was really hot to the touch.
The engine temp remained constant as per normal.
The aircon and the heater control had no effect over the temp.
Any ideas what the problem is.

The flaps that divert the air is not being operated. It can be the motors, flaps itself or the control. If you can hear the motors operating then the flaps is at fault and it is a under the dash or dash removal job to fix.
