Any more details on engine spec? My car same year has been off road for 3 years now and thinking of getting it back on the road proper with Mahle forget pistons, forged K1 rods and head work when I find someone to do all the engine work.

What remapper you thinking of using. Not sure if most use canned tunes these days rather than live mapping.
Engine is just basically just rebuilt after the chain snapped with uprated valves and guides and some headwork, forging was not in my budget. I have been advised against so called "cheese" Wossner pistons, apparently weaker then OEM! I'm not sure about Mahle, I'd imagine they're pretty good!

I use West Tuning, best in the business imo, all mapping is car specific and he is a real perfectionist!

So a few things have happened!

BIG BRAKES ARRIVED EARLY- WOOO!
Fitted and look really good! If they work as good as they look qualitywise, they should be really good!

Here's the big one, the engine has finally been started for the first time! smilesmile

Thanks.
Currently testing this year so I hit the ground running next year, undecided on series until I have tested it more and seen which series it will suit. Ideally a series with bhp/tonne rather engine size as I know of some other cars putting out around 400hp on semi slicks in some series. I hoping to run 250-270 initially on r888 tyres
