Dat camber, can it be sorted easily?

Not bad for £100 though!
Yes he says he still has the original upper control arms so will swap them over. The cambered ones he brought from the states for good money so I'll chuck them up on ebay.

I've been watching the money these make, planning to buy one to get around if my Astra shed dies.

£100 with three months MOT is incredible value. Even if it does have dodgy suspension and tasteless mods

Just been on Ebay and brought a standard air box and the duct pipe. It has some ilaborate pipe work on there now that rubs on the bonnet then leads to a cone filter at the front. Pointless as these have a cold air intake as standard so would have been better off with a K&N panel filter in the original box. Will get pics up of under the bonnet before i change it all back to standard.
Going to do more work on it at the weekend,

I had an IS200 sport about 8 years ago. Lovely car, great build quality, good looks and a sweet sounding engine.

Absolute great buy well done.

Makes my police auction seem like a rip off!

Looks fantastic even after a clean, any pictures of the interior?

It'd be nice if you gave your mate a cut of the profit you're going to make on this.

I love these proper sheds. Makes me cry over the money I've spent on my 09 Audi a3. Latest bill been 200 quid to have to shocks fitted to the rear to pass it's MOT.

Can't understand why people would sell their car because their OH wants them to have something else.
Especially a rover 75.

+1000

I thought he was getting a new car..

When you buy any car without a full inspection you will get cost. I have spent about 2k on my 700 quid Octavia but done about 30k miles in it and can't see any big bills expected.

I don't know a Rover 216 isn't a bad car if it's a GTi hehe

Got a bit done today. Sorted the camber issue out. The cambered top suspension arms are adjustable and were set to max camber so have set to the middle setting now. Only done one side as need a tyre on the other side so will take that off tommorow and set the camber at the same time. Also started putting the engine bay back how it should be. Still waiting for the other bits to arrive but the air box came today so stuck that on.Checked everything still works and it all seems to apart from the stereo, even the Air con is still nice and cold. Has Xenon upgraded headlights too.

Before

Thats better

I'd have refused. If she made a big issue of it I'd have dumped her.
