I've had a 240z for several years now and it keeps evolving. Started as a standard car bought from ebay in 2006. I drove the car around for a while after a minor restoration then decided it needed a bit more power. As I was on a tight budget I bought myself a lexus soarer as a parts car for £400. Then set about swapping the 2.5lt twin turbo engine and manual box in 2010. This only took a few weeks and I was back on the road. The car has continually evolved since then and is still evolving now with a recent swap to single turbo. Here's a few pics:

Looks great, love the Wangan Midnight colour, love the six-spoke wheels.

These are pretty lightweight AFAIK, so that turbo 2.5 must make it seriously rapid! How's the handling? Have you been on track with it?

Wow!, Thanks for all the response.

Yes, I have taken it to spa classic and tracked it for many years. I drive the car a lot as its so well mannered on the road and also do quite a bit of drag racing. It currently runs a 1/4 mile in 11.10s@132.5mph. I'll try and work out how to add more than one picture.

Love it. Any pics of the engine bay?

If you were toying with the idea of having the rear bumper off, it looks better with it on IMO.

Wow, that's mind boggling performance for a road car!

Open question. What other road cars would have similar performance? I'm guessing serious exotica.

Very impressive but not too surprising in reality, a car weighing in at 1044kg stock fitted with a 1J or 2Jz easily making 400, 500 or maybe 600bhp?

That'll easily do 11's, the trick would be getting the power down via the rear wheels I imagine.

As a whole this car is impressive though, for some this is a dream car. 240z, restored and with an engine swap!

I'll take one with an RB26 please!

We recently took an Audi RS7 and Porsche Panamera Turbo down to Santa Pod and they come pretty close!
