I agree with you Srpuce, the 307 was mediocre at best, most of the cars Peugeot produced during the 00's were absolute crap and this was one of them (do we remember the self clocking fault where the car would just add a few hundred and even thousand miles for the hell of it?).

The 307 will NEVER be a classic, its one that's best forgotten really frown

I can respect a well modified car but what does your insurer make of the oil cooler mounted on the front grille? I would have thought that they'd be fairly concerned about something that so flagrantly defied type approval rules.

The front bumper is obviously meant to deform in a crash and absorb the kinetic energy were you to hit a pedestrian. Mounting a hot metal oil cooler there will make it less safe, so I'd be surprised if your insurer were happy with such a drastic mod. What would they have to say about it?
