So, I had an accident in the Blit back end of 2021, I really didn't feel like talking about it hence why I've been missing here, I rebuilt my Chaser and have used that daily for 2 years, now the time has come after grandkids where I'm ready to import another one so, yeah, I'll try and keep this positive attitude going, tons of plans going forward

So, I've finally bought another Blit, many plans ahead, cars at the port in Japan waiting for a boat, it's a 2002 Blit IRV in silver with 80k on, here's the pics.

Such a shame the other was damaged. Did you buy it back from the insurance company or let everything go to start afresh? Always a bit sad when you wait that long for a car to come over and events like this take place.

New one looks pretty good though. What are the plans for it?

I just didn't claim, cars sat on my drive, I couldn't bring myself to look at it until yesterday, where I realised it's not that bad.

Plans with the new one is to swap all the aftermarket bits from the old one and fit the the ECU to it to make a fast comfy daily.

At least the old one will still have some value if sold on and the chassis is still in one piece.

Good luck with swapping the parts over. I look forward to seeing what the new one can do and whether it "feels" better than the first.

Thanks, yeah trying to build a fast JDM estate, but not as hardcore as my Chaser, already ordered a few tasty bits.

So, the car is officially on the boat, so I really need to get my ducks in a line and start collecting the fun bits and not so fun bits. This includes, swapping the coilovers, ARB's and bolt on bits from the OG including the factory aero, the LSD, and Kuruma hybrid turbo off it, plus order some bits I want to try and future proof the thing whilst giving it a little more power, these include Coil on plug kit, new GReddy radiator, auto gearbox cooler, Apex'i CAI kit, adjustable upper front and rear arms, I want it to look good with minimal tyre/arch issues, fit my ECU master black ECU and 550cc injectors, hoping for 400 to 430bhp but mainly safely and I'm after a nice smooth power delivery. Also, I'm selling my BBS LM and looking at these,

I'm thinking of a 18x9.5 et 22.

Hopefully the car will land around may and I can start building

Nice to know there is another Blit owner in the house! Noticed your white one had cruise control, I bought the stalk as info I read said plug and play but further research suggests there are other modules etc needed? If you are not going to swap it over, would you be interested in selling the cruise control bits and pieces?
