The issue with toddlers is that their little legs stick straight outwards which means that someone's space will be compromised! It's why I sold my E63 645Ci.

Update: Dealer is replacing the high pressure fuel pump and 12 injectors.

No idea if this is the cause of the issue or not, they didn’t elaborate.

Still don’t have my courtesy car!

Unbelievable (and frankly unforgivable) at this end of the market…

I know you can’t specifically name them but perhaps what area of the country are you nearwink

Good luck. Hope that finally sorts it.

The DBX is back!

So after having all injectors replaced, the high pressure fuel pump and many many tests, all is fine (for now).

Aston were comparing the test data to a brand new 707 they had at the service centre

I kicked off quite abit tbh especially as they couldn’t find an issue before. I had contacted Aston directly too.

Surprisingly I’ve had many emails on here but also on instagram from other Aston owners and Aston specialists/tech which have been greatly appreciated.

I really do hope this is the end of the misfiring nonsense!

Aston Manchester have good willed me a 4 piece set of fitted luggage for the DBX too, it’s not arrived yet but a nice gesture nevertheless.

Due to go back down to Cornwall this weekend so if there is going to be any resurgence of issues, this will be the test.

Thanks both! Me too!

Was so so close to pulling the trigger on a White Defender V8, which I'm glad I didn't as that is a fairly comprimised car from an enthusiastic driving POV. My wife gave me the beautiful reality check of "It looks like the kind of car a beauty salon owner would drive." biggrin

A G63 is surely what you lease for your (Timpsons) trophy wife.

I wouldn't accept this on any new car never mind one of this value.

So over 1000 miles have been completed back in my possession since the last work was done and happy to say no misfires have occurred! Long may it last!

Managed my best ever MPG on the way home form Cornwall too. 23.1mpg (actual) over 340 miles. Pretty amazing considering for a 2.2 ton SUV fully loaded with the roof box too.

A few snaps from Cornwall.

Some hardcore off-roading

Glad to hear it might finally be resolved (and no other problems crop up!)

I was thinking about this thread the other day and wondering if everything was fine or you maybe you had broken down on Dartmoor and since been living a nomadic life sustained on berries and rain water hehe
