That's looking really well - how much are you plates? The last set I bought from my local Sytner were £12! Billy bargain.
See above. I’m doing them at work. Won’t cost anything wink

Rear plate done now.

I’m just about finished cosmetically. Little chip above the fuel filler cap will be touched in and a new OEM front screen waiting to be fitted.

I’m also looking for a little front splitter to tie in the gap between the lower fog lights and the intercooler section. Just to level the front end off a bit better.

Plates look spot on pal smile

Car's looking immaculate now; any future plans?

Plates look fantastic, are they reflective? I've only ever seen adhesive plates used on bonnets when people have fitted big intercoolers and/or want to maximise airflow I think.

Paintwork looks like it's got some impressive gloss on it, are you still thinking about sticking some PPF on it too?

Fully reflective. Same spec as the normal plastic/ally ones. I hate it when you wash a car and you always get the drips from behind the plate! smile
I looked into PPF. My mate who does it said don’t bother. For the price, it’ll be cheaper to repaint the front end every 2 years. If you don’t do it all, the paint will fade at a different rate too, so when removed, it will be mismatched anyway.

Just a remap now. Going to take a Friday off and head over to Motorsport Developments. Finding the time though. Very busy at the moment at work.

I like the new plates. My original plates are somewhat worn and I'm looking to get some made up at Partridge BMW in Eastleigh when I can get there.

I’ve also got a new set of Thule roof bars due next week so I can fit my roof box when we go away. Might even treat myself to a Velo Compact now I’ve got a factory fitted, retractable tow bar!
I know I won’t fit two ProRides on with the box fitted, so might try a tow bar mount carrier this time round.

I'm looking into Thule aero bars for our F31; not sure what size box I'd go for but there seems to be plenty of options...

Thinking it'd come in handy if we trek to NW Scotland/Skye etc or be even braver and drive to NW France/Normandy etc!

Saves absolutely cramming the car etc

I’ve got the Thule Motion 600 and a set of their Go Packs. Keeps the inside of the car clear and the dog has plenty room in the boot.

As much as my car looks a bit poo with the rack on it, but not having to chuck bikes on the back keeps the interior clean and in better shape.

Your car is looking really well. I’m tempted by a subtle front splitter too.

Carriers on now. Just had a coat of Soft 99 too. I don’t think the box and one carrier will fit on these edge bars. Looks like I’ll have to order a tow bar mounted carrier for the summer. Think I’ll keep with Thule and get one of their Velo Compacts. The car has the factory fitted, retractable bar on.

Just refed the leather. Will let it soak in for a good hour before giving it a wipe over. It’s unmarked for 96k miles.

Treated the factory tow bar to some rust converter earlier. It was starting to get a bit brown. Will paint it all black tomorrow.

Car is looking phenomenal Rob.. after being dirt-shamed in this thread I'm going to have to study your process/copy the products you've used on the E91 to bring the E90 up to scratch!! laugh

I've seen the Fusso products sitting on the shelf when I've been buying other cleaning bits and bobs, but I've never used them myself. Looks like it leaves helluva nice finish on white, which I've sometimes found hard to get a decent finish/gloss on.

Lost a day or two but finally got around to it. Had its first coat now. Will give it another tomorrow. Be right then.
