We’ve covered 592 miles on one tank with 60 odd left door to door, there & back with a few road trips out, so good mileage from the N47 wink
Those N47s are pretty good on fuel, although I could never get more than 500 miles out of my 123d because 1 Series tanks were only 55 litres. frown

But the 320td Compact it replaced that had a 63 litre tank managed over 600 miles a few times.

I love those quiet Scottish roads, so I'm heading back there next month.

It's been really good TBH; short journeys it goes through fuel like any other car; but on the motorways it does really well...

And as it's uphill all the way to The Highlands from here (plus a jaunt across to Braemar from Dunkeld (superb road); it's done great

TBF my previous F01 730D did just as well; but that had a huge tank biggrin

One thing I miss is having a bigger fuel tank. My old Lexus LS460 had an 84L tank I think it was. When fuel was £2/L my biggest fill up was over £160!!!

First full hand wash of 2024 today whilst the weathers fair and dry…

Full decontamination with citrus pre cleaner, BH snow foam, rinsed, hand washed, clay mitted, hand washed again, rinsed, towel dried and Chemical Guys Banana carnuba spray wax applied and buffed…

That’ll do it for now as it’ll be going to my pals body shop come Spring to get the bumpers resprayed and tailgate sorted as well

Still running the 397s and Goodyear all seasons as the temps are still low for the next week or so, but looking forward to getting it back on the 405Ms and Goodyear Assym 6s thumbup

Looking good Dan.

I’m looking forward to getting stuck into both of ours due to tar spots etc. Hopefully we’ll get some better weather soon.

Yeah the rear quarters were fairly well peppered Sam. The clay mitt and decontamination sorted them… Soon pick them up again but easy to keep at bay

Feels good to be able to give the car a proper wash again now my body’s allowing it…

Dropped the 18" 405Ms off with my pal today to be fully refurbed; should have them back at the weekend/early next week:

Interior received an in-depth clean as I'd shifted a lot of bulk compost yesterday and the dust got everywhere! The headliner was absolutely coated in it, so that's been hoovered first and then worked my way down!

Leather wiped clean with Dr Leather wipes (superb things) and the alcantara has been brushed clean

Collected the full refurbed 18" 405Ms from my pals this morning; will get the ceramic coated later on and they can have a few days curing whilst I'm over in Dublin. Will try and get them fitted on Friday

In two minds as well whether to bother with the 12mm spacers and stud conversion; thinking I'll more than likely not bother

That's a nice finish, when I eventually get my wheels refurbished I'll probably look for a similar colour.

If it looks good on a Silverstone II car that'd be great, too hehe

Cheers Sam

Just finished coating them; forgot how much that Gtechniq C5 stinks laugh

Really glad I had nearly a full bottle left; the price has shot up on Amazon!
