Looks great!

There are no relays fitted for the headlights or full beam either.
They are worth fitting to take the load off the fragile column switch, and you get slightly brighter lights too.

I really like the design of the Hellebore steering wheel, the AlfaSud had similar one but in leather, dished too. Wonder is it smaller than your original, if so it's a possible option at a later date maybe.
Yea me too, ah interesting, I have heard the 1750 junior version might be smaller too. Tbh I think my best bet to getting mine back on would be to lower the seat, which I wouldn’t mind doing!

Thanks! Ah cheers for the tip! I will add that to the list!

I think the junior got a rather dull looking wheel, the GTV’s got hellebores, deep dish on the later cars.
The thinner wooden wheels give you better feel through steering than the smaller fatter types, but for ‘pushing on’ the Momo will work well. My Motolita is scheduled to be swapped for the Prototipo as soon as release some funds from another car.

Ive had the smoke too…..

The seating position works well for those us who have short legs but long arms!

I seem to recall that this was called the 'Italian Ape' pedal position back in the day!

Really pleased with how it looks, I think it’s really the only other viable option aside from the original wheel, very happy! Plus it feels great to drive with, lots more room for the knees too!
Wheel looks great - it is on my list to buy. Whereabouts did you source the horn push? Alfa logo looks much nicer than the usual fully coloured ones I've seen for sale.

Ah! Interesting. Yes I agree completely, I loved the feel of the old wooden wheel and I do actually really miss it after doing some driving in the car this weekend, but yea, for spirited driving the Momo is much better to use.

Like I say, I would love to lower the front seats and get the wooden wheel back on in the future!

Thanks! I just bought the badge from classic Alfa then stuck it on a black horn push I bought from eBay.

Also if you are in the market for a prototipo check Amazon, I bought mine from there about £80 cheaper than anywhere else I saw online.

Had a good run out this weekend with the car, went to a meet at hexagon classics on Saturday, then down to Wimbledon for Southside hustle on Sunday.

Managed to get a few nice shots.

I hadn't spotted those horn badges - obviously now out of stock hehe. I also need to workout if I'll fit with a 370mm wheel as I'd prefer the larger diameter if possible.

Funny you mention checking Amazon as that is where I bought my last momo wheel from as it was about half the cost of everywhere else online.

I think all the hubs are the same size, irrespective of the wheel diameter.

The Amazon wheels all seem to be 350, I think 370 might the suit the Alfa better.

No they do 370, same design. Classic Alfa and Alfaholics sell them.
But there’s a premium as a result.

The 370mm is the normal Prototipo, not the Heritage version.

The Heritage comes pre-worn.

You could make your own 370 Heritage by driving in your welding gloves for a few months. biggrin

Pre-worn!……..

My Motolita is pre-worn!
Edit.
Just noticed the Heritage is £10 cheaper at Momo, is that because it’s smaller, or ‘pre-worn’ !

When they measure them, is it overall diameter, centre of the outer ring, or inside the outer ring…… it’s the ex Draughtsmen in me, which needs to know that.
