The Cryenne has a new timing chain, the garage test drove the car and no issues were reported! I've asked them to fix the boost leak, which shouldn't take long as its just a pipe & diverter.

Good news, other than having to pay the bill!

When do you get it back?

Yeah we’ll ignore the bill for now. Assuming the boost pipe doesn’t take long, I assume this afternoon?

Famous last words, car is all fixed but the boost leak turned out to be a leak in the intercooler - so that's now being taken care of.

Owned the car since October, it’s been off the road since end of December.

I think that’s a new record.

Ok, but is it fixed now? How much did all of it set you off, in the end? And when will you do the YT video about it? wink

I'm hoping its done tomorrow, I'll be recording a video as soon as its back in my hands hehe

That's been the most challenging bit about this whole thing, this was a car bought to make videos on but its been too broken to film. I want to do a roadtrip in it!

Not heard from the garage, I’ll call em on Monday and see what the situation is. Installing the intercooler isn’t a big job but maybe the part took longer to arrive from Porsche.

Good stuff, but the important question is how quickly will it be replaced by a Maserati?

Funny you should ask...the QP owner did say they were interested in the car once its fixed, so there may be a deal to be done.

Yup, its been replaced as it was leaking - that was not cheap as the Turbo S has its own special intercoolers that can only come from porsche, £1200 just for the part.

It’s very tempting, need to figure out if it’s the right car vs running the Cryenne for a bit longer.

Hello gorgeous!

Cryenne is driving amazingly well, but was driving in rush hour so not had the chance for a full beans run just yet
