Yup the sprays were only ever a temp solution till I can figure out what’s next.
This is the aftermath of the oil change, I’ve put down some swarfega driveway cleaner after taking this photo:
Not had a chance to look at the results yet though due to the weather.
Oops. That drive looked pretty new. You're going to get some grief for that. Good luck with the clean up.This is the aftermath of the oil change, I’ve put down some swarfega driveway cleaner after taking this photo:

So annoyed at myself, service parts came early and the weather is looking damp for the rest of the week so cracked on when the oil change.
The oil was hot and so the viscosity flow rate was too much for my drain pan, cue oil all over the place. I grabbed some sharp sand from the lots playground but I’m now worried about it having contaminated something. (It was quite windy)
There’s currently 6 litres of fresh oil in the car, I’m very tempted to order a fresh filter and oil, drain what’s in there to remove any chance of contamination.
I've also done that using a cheapo Halfords drain pan. The oil was hot and so the viscosity flow rate was too much for my drain pan, cue oil all over the place. I grabbed some sharp sand from the lots playground but I’m now worried about it having contaminated something. (It was quite windy)

It's a mistake you only make once. I've since bought a very over spec one that could probably drain a tank. Can't remember the brand but it's made in USA which still counts for something when buying tools or so I've found.
Will no doubt see me out.

The drain pipes are in the footwells. They block at the bottom and then the water backs up and leaks into the car through the roof.
Be very careful if you intend to use compressed air to unblock the drain pipes. I would say avoid that method if at all possible. The pipes sit inside rubber grommets that plug into the body work and drain outside. If you dislodge one of the pipes from that grommet the water will drain inside the car and they are a PITA to get back in.

If the are properly blocked, pour hot water and soap solution down the sunroof drain holes to help clear. Use a small screwdriver to unblock the drain plugs. Should be a stream of muddy/sandy slurry. Have a towel ready. Once you've squeezed all the crud out, pour a little fresh water down the drain holes to confirm they are now clear.
