No worries mate. Next time, hopefully.

I need to get my ass in gear now, and get the Astra finished ready for PV 08.

insane amount of hard graft! good job.

oh, and please god lose the chromed mirrors and the headlight eyebrows, which, unless a joke, really contradict the thought and effort put into the mechanics! (please take that as a tiny criticism of a massively impressive piece of work, a bit like a zit on a supermodel biggrin )

The eyebrows are staying mate.

What chrome mirrors ?

They`re sprayed gunmetal, same as the front grill.

Slowmo mate. I waited 9 weeks for this, should`ve only been 2, turned up last friday .....

The mounting tank is at the powdercoaters, when it comes back, I`ll be fitting it and installing the cell. Gotta retrim the boot first tho.

It`s gonna be tight, but I think I`ll make PVS smile

Rear wheels ........ me, today, then its ready to drive smile
Realign propshaft .. me, when the 4 post is available.
Clip up fuel line .. me, " " " " " "
MOT ................ week after next
Repaint doors, and fuel filler on rear wing .. week after next
Tech 2 - fault codes and setup ............... " " "
Geometry setup ..... week after next
Dash/centre console tidy/retrim .. dont know ?

So, there`s not much left, but too much to cram into 6 days.

I`ve got some now mate, took these today ....

Bonnet pins laying on the l/h side, still to be fitted, I need an angle finder to make a bracket the same angle as the bonnet.

Boot is virtually finished, except the fuel hose need clipping up under the car, and tidied in the boot ...

Interior is all in, just need to make a bracket to take the brake bias udjuster ........

As the rear wheels have been off for quite sometime, I cleaned, waxed and fitted them this morning ...

Things left to do ......
1. Fit bonnet pins
2. Fit brake bias adjuster
3. Clip up fuel line
4. Realign propshaft
5. Program out fault codes with tech 2
6. MOT
7. Get doors repainted
8. Geometry setup.
9. Get dash/console tidied/retrimmed
