nice I came very very close to buying a blue one of those a couple of years ago
I've been very pleased with it, would recommend.8bit said:
Lovely, I also nearly went for one of these a while back. What was the story behind the think tank and the rear lights?
The 3200 was Maserati coming back but it didn't sell in the US. Obviously, a come back isn't a come back unless you crack the US so they, apparently, took the 32 to a few think tanks/focus groups in the US to see what they thought. The boomerang lights were not popular, so they were replaced with the larger Honda Prelude style lights on the 4200 and GranSport. You can retro fit them on the 42/GS but at great expense.

Ooh nice. Thinking of having this, the ST or the 208 GTI this year, some good deals out there. Did you drive all three? Interested to see what people think of each before I go waste some salespeople' time.
Of course I did! 208 - driving position killed it for me. If that hadn't the touch screen would have. Felt like a nice car but missing sparkle and the dynamics weren't enough to make up for the areas that it was lacking.
The Fiesta is best described as busy. Both the ride and the dash. I love spending time with my cars but not even I have enough time to learn all the buttons, and the nav screen was tiny. And optional. As is keyless entry and start button.
Coming from a Twingo 133 Cup, I guess the Clio was inevitable but I did head into this with my eyes open, and aware of the issues of such a car, but the Clio feels grown up in normal, the auto is a pleasure and the dash is clutter free and I'm actually suprised at the quality of the plastic (the one I sat in at FCS in the summer was woeful by comparison to mine strangely). It rides properly and in race the changes are rapid and it pops and bangs. Plus spec for spec, it's not really very expensive. I went for a 1 month old car with Lux and Cup. They're pretty well priced if you can find a very nearly new car. 4 years warranty and servicing brings it back into line.
So far it's loved at work, something I can't say about the 133, and my clients have all come and had a look and play, I seriously underestimated the novelty of metallic flappy paddles
